Welcome to Wirral: A place made for you

Welcome to VisitWirral.com! Wirral is the perfect choice for a short break thanks to beautiful open spaces on the peninsula and fascinating things to do.

Explore the great outdoors along 50 miles of coastline and beaches, rural walks and cycling routes, or enjoy a vibrant food and drink scene of traditional British pubs, tearooms and award-winning restaurants.

Those looking to extend their visit have plenty of accommodation choices too, with everything from spas and 5-star hotels to bed and breakfasts and even campsites on offer.

Wirral has also been named the 2024 Borough of Culture for the Liverpool City Region.

Inspired by Wirral’s unique location, culture and heritage, special events will celebrate the borough’s history and look to the future, with many events and activities led by local organisations and creatives.

Following a successful run as Borough of Culture back in 2019, Wirral is excited for another unmissable year.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
